Orkoli
The International Orthodox Jewish Film Festival
Orkoli is the first international film festival of its kind, dedicated to Orthodox Jewish women filmmakers. The festival offers a rare and exclusive glimpse into the creative process behind the evolving world of Haredi cinema.
The 2025 edition of Orkoli is centered around the art of storytelling, exploring the journey of narratives from the written word to the screen. This year, the festival delves into the intricate craft of building characters, shaping emotional arcs, and delivering powerful messages that transcend cultural and linguistic boundaries.
Through sensitivity, wisdom, and bold artistic vision, these pioneering filmmakers craft narratives that challenge conventions, illuminate unique perspectives, and capture the essence of contemporary Orthodox life.
The festival features an exceptional program, including world premieres, exclusive screenings, acclaimed and breakthrough productions, workshops, masterclasses with leading industry professionals, and groundbreaking artistic performances by emerging creators.
